Being an Explorer

I am a 28-year-old executive assistant and I
have worked for the same company for 5 years. People ask me if I have plans to
transfer to another company but to be honest, I havenít thought about resigning
and moving on to a new job. I actually like what I do now and I really enjoy
working with the people at my office. Because of the monotony of my job, I have
become an adventurous person outside office hours. I try to use my vacation
leave credits in doing things that might seem odd to some like becoming a barista
during weekends and enrolling in a school
alternative medicine
and I have been going there for 3 consecutive
months now.

I also enjoy my school of healing
sessions in energetic healing with my friends from natural medicine. I love the
outdoors and I love to learn new things. I believe that we are all students of
life and that graduating from school is only the beginning of real education.
Personally, I think a diploma or a degree is just a requirement to get a job
but it does not really teach you anything about life itself. I 'seize the day'
as much as I can. I don't like wasting moments or days. In the office, people
know me as the explorer just like Dora, the cartoon character, especially when
I cut my bangs short. I am still young and there are just so many things to do
and discover in this world.
